National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index, July 13, 2015, week-on-week

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on July 13 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 204.63, up 0.73 points from last Friday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 206.13, up 0.85 points from last Friday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 22.29 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 176.62), up 1.0% from last Friday;

Beef 53.64 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from last Friday;

Mutton 48.04 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from last Friday;

Eggs 7.09 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from last Friday;

Dressed chicken 14.58 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from last Friday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.53 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 221.68), up 0.9% from last Friday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 5.72 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from last Friday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.63 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from last Friday;

Common carp 13.57 yuan/kg, unchanged from last Friday;

Silver carp 7.12 yuan/kg, up 1.3% from last Friday;

Largehead hairtail 27.89 yuan/kg, unchanged from last Friday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring in the domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale market, compared with last Friday the top five price increases were: tomatoes, white radish, Chinese cabbage, green peppers and garlic, with increases of 5.7%, 5.3%, 5.1%, 4.6% and 3.7% respectively; the top five price decreases were: rapeseed, cucumber, lotus root, scallion and watermelon, with decreases of 5.4%, 3.5%, 2.4%, 1.7% and 1.2% respectively.
