Leaf width 0.6-1.3 cm, leaf height 40-80 cm, leaf count 5-7, tall stem, opposite, arching and slanting downward, with elasticity, buds purplish red, leaf sheaths fully covered with sand-like speckling. It bears 2-3 flowers, flowering period January-March, emerging shoots, water-red, petals lotus-red lotus-type narcissus petals; under good growing conditions it is a true lotus-petal type flower, with a round center, narrow base, multiple lips that are round and large, with a U-shaped red blotch in the middle. It is a representative variety among the strange flowers of Yunnan Cymbidium lianpan.
