Introduction to the cultivar characteristics of Cymbidium faberi 'Sanxia Zhi Xing'
In 2006, it was discovered by the Anhui orchid enthusiast Hou Shulin, and at that time the front growths with flowers were sold to Mr. Xu Renpeng of Yixiang Orchid Garden in Shanghai; it was named 'Xiqiyangyang' (Joyous). In the Spring Festival of 2008, I obtained this plant by chance; after repeated discussions with the senior members of the Orchid Association, it was named Sanxia Zhi Xing (Star of the Three Gorges)
