Introduction to the Cymbidium lianpan cultivar Xiue (also known as Xiaobaihe)
Cymbidium lianpan: Xiue (Xiaobaihe). Originating from Yunnan, a Weixi variety, fine-leaved Cymbidium lianpan, leaves slanting upright, 15-25 cm tall, about 0.5 wide, good at producing new shoots, free-flowering. Flowers white, held above the leaves, outer three petals peach-shaped, dragon-swallowing tongue. The flower form is quite stable, the fine leaves setting off the large flowers, with a good balance of flower and foliage, hence the name Xiue.
