Junzi was dug up from a mountain in Lishui by the Lishui orchid enthusiast Lan Huiming in 2002; at the time it was collected, it consisted of 2 seedling plants. The flower is a lotus-shaped bicolor narcissus-type, and the flower quality has remained extremely stable across several rebloomings.
