In 2006, it was collected from the tropical rainforest in Dadugang, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, and selected and bred by the elderly Pu'er orchid grower Liu Guoqiang. When it was first collected, the petals were white, so it was called Xuemei (Snow Plum). The leaves are about 55 cm to 60 cm long and about 2.0 cm to 2.3 cm wide. The flowers stand above the leaves. The new shoots and leaf tips have obvious white tips. The upper part of the leaves has fine serrations. The tips of the outer leaves taper sharply and form a hood. After years of cultivation by Pu'er orchid enthusiasts and stable reblooming, the flower color turned emerald green. When it was first collected in Yunnan, the color was close to Banghe, white, so it was called Xuemei; after reblooming, it has always been emerald green. The buds are sparse, bright and upright, and the blooms are noble and elegant!
