On August 4, 2015, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on August 4 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 210.00, up 0.88 points from yesterday, among which the “Market Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 212.37, up 1.05 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in national agricultural products wholesale markets was 23.74 yuan/kg (pork wholesale price index 181.13), down 0.3% from yesterday;

Beef 53.53 yuan/kg, basically flat compared with yesterday;

Mutton 48.30 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday;

Eggs 7.90 yuan/kg, up 0.8% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 14.58 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.69 yuan/kg (vegetable wholesale price index 229.81), up 1.9% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 5.38 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.61 yuan/kg, down 1.4% from yesterday;

Common carp 13.34 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.09 yuan/kg, flat compared with yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 28.51 yuan/kg, up 1.6% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring in domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: spinach, zucchini, lettuce, cauliflower and cucumber, with increases of 7.3%, 6.5%, 5.2%, 5.0% and 5.0% respectively; the top five price decreases were: bighead carp, lotus root, grass carp, crucian carp and garlic bolt, with decreases of 3.3%, 1.9%, 1.8%, 1.4% and 0.9% respectively.
