In ordinary home cultivation, Clivia often develops slanted leaves because of lighting or other factors. Although slanted leaves do not hinder the plant's own growth and flowering, they do affect its ornamental value to a certain extent. This means that when caring for Clivia, you should pay attention to preventing this phenomenon. Below is a brief introduction to the points to keep in mind to prevent Clivia leaves from becoming slanted:

When growing Clivia at home, the light cannot be as even as in a greenhouse, so during care you should often turn the pot so that all the leaves can be exposed to sunlight.

When fertilizing Clivia, apply the fertilizer evenly. You can spread the fertilizer evenly over the potting soil, or break the soil surface and bury it shallowly. This lets the roots of the Clivia absorb nutrients evenly and allows every leaf of the plant to receive the same nutrients, so that during growth the leaves can, to a certain extent, be prevented from becoming slanted due to unbalanced nutrition.

In addition, differences in water, temperature or ventilation will all affect the even growth of the leaves to a certain extent, which also means that during care you should try to give every leaf the same attention.

If you pay attention to the points above, you can, to a certain extent, prevent the leaves of Clivia from becoming slanted.
