Comparison of the National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index on August 7, 2015 with Yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on August 7 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 210.50, down 0.47 points from yesterday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 212.81, down 0.53 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at agricultural products wholesale markets nationwide was 23.89 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 182.34), up 0.3% from yesterday;

Beef was 53.29 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Mutton was 48.21 yuan/kg, down 0.8% from yesterday;

Eggs were 8.06 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken was 14.61 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 3.76 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 235.56), up 0.7% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 5.35 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 15.00 yuan/kg, up 1.1% from yesterday;

Common carp was 13.38 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday;

Silver carp was 7.25 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail was 28.65 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday.

⟦NL> Today, among the 60 varieties key monitored at domestic fresh and live agricultural products wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: zucchini, yardlong beans, oyster mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms and lettuce, with increases of 1.9%, 1.9%, 1.9%, 1.6% and 1.6% respectively; the top five price decreases were: onions, green peppers, potatoes, Fuji apples and cabbage, with decreases of 2.8%, 1.7%, 1.7%, 1.6% and 1.1% respectively.
