Orchid fragrance

I have always believed that orchid fragrance should come first in appreciation. If the fragrance of this orchid is not good, then no matter how excellent the rest is, it has no soul. So choosing orchid fragrance is very important. Do not be dazzled by pictures. To beginners, I recommend several varieties with good fragrance. For Cymbidium goeringii, there is no need to say much; many have a delicate fragrance, and Song Mei is the first choice. For Cymbidium faberi, the first choice is Dayipin. For Cymbidium ensifolium, Ruanjian Renhua Bai and Tiegui Huangya.

Leaf shape

Leaf shape also occupies a very high place in orchid appreciation. After all, when appreciating orchids, people look at the leaves the most. For Cymbidium goeringii, Song Mei is the leading leaf shape. Those who do not know how to appreciate it can first look at the leaf shape of Song Mei. For Cymbidium faberi, Dayipin is recommended. For Cymbidium tortisepalum, Daxuesu.

Petal shape

There is no need to give much guidance on this. By looking at the pictures, you can choose the petal-shaped flowers you like. For petal-shaped flowers, you also need to look at flower staying power, that is, flowers that remain unchanged for a long time after blooming are considered superior. The thickness, color intensity, and so on of the petals, in short, this can vary from person to person; as long as you like it, that is fine. I recommend several Cymbidium goeringii varieties: Song Mei, Dafugui, Longzi, Wangzi, Xishen, etc. Cymbidium goeringii has many good petal-shaped flowers, as numerous as clouds.
