December 3, 2015 "National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on December 3 the “National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index” was 202.61, down 0.28 points from yesterday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 203.98, down 0.31 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 22.70 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 175.37), down 0.6% from yesterday;

Beef 54.47 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday;

Mutton 47.08 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from yesterday;

Eggs 7.97 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 14.75 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.06 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 225.65), up 0.2% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 5.04 yuan/kg, up 1.4% from yesterday;

Carp 11.94 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.05 yuan/kg, up 1.7% from yesterday;

Large hairtail 28.81 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring in domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets, compared with yesterday the top five price increases were: cabbage, pineapple, cauliflower, banana and crucian carp, with margins of 3.5%, 2.4%, 2.3%, 2.2% and 2.2% respectively; the top five price decreases were: rapeseed (yu choy), large yellow croaker, lotus root, Chinese cabbage and pumpkin, with margins of 2.9%, 2.4%, 2.1%, 2.0% and 1.8% respectively.
