Shunjiang Chunsè, a new species discovered in Yuyao, named by Lanshizhai, won the 9th Silver Award of Ningbo City. On February 17, 2007, Wang Likui of Yongshun Orchid Garden and I selected it in the greenhouse of unclassified Siming Mountain wild-collected orchids at Yongshun Orchid Garden; Lanshizhai purchased it and named it. Shunjiang Chunsè, a new species discovered in Yuyao, named by Lanshizhai, won the 9th Silver Award of Ningbo City. On February 17, 2007, Wang Likui of Yongshun Orchid Garden and I selected it in the greenhouse of unclassified Siming Mountain wild-collected orchids at Yongshun Orchid Garden; Lanshizhai purchased it and named it. Leaves slanting upright, leaf color emerald green and glossy, soft petals, liu hai tongue, outer three sepals pure emerald in color, one-character shoulder, flower large at 5.5 cm, flower scape 18 cm tall. The photos below are one shot per day from potting on February 17 to removal on the 22nd; the flower stance is quite spirited, the tongue slightly drooping, the two petals slightly open. The characteristics of this flower are good color and flat shoulders; unfortunately, the stamen-like development on the petals is somewhat weak.
