When introducing orchids, you must look at the roots!

One, roots that are white or slightly yellowish are the best choice; this kind of plant is vigorous.

Two, never buy those gray, lifeless ones.

Three, orchid roots with carbonized root tips must not be taken; this is mostly caused by too much fertilizer and too little water, and this kind of plant declines quickly after purchase and is prone to scorched leaf tips.

Four, during the peak growing season of orchids, those without crystal tips must not be taken.

Five, outside the growing season, try not to take those with many crystal tips.

Six, try not to take those without root nodes.

Seven, try not to buy Cymbidium faberi with thin and round roots.

Eight, during the peak growing season of orchids, try not to buy those with very short crystal tips; most of these plants grow slowly after emerging from the soil.
