On August 12, 2015, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on August 12 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 213.22, up 1.42 points from yesterday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 216.42, up 1.82 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at the national agricultural products wholesale market was 24.60 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 184.49), up 0.6% from yesterday;

Beef was 53.76 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday;

Mutton was 48.50 yuan/kg, up 0.8% from yesterday;

Eggs were 8.24 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken was 14.66 yuan/kg, up 1.2% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 vegetables under key monitoring was 3.91 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 248.43), up 1.0% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 fruits under key monitoring was 5.38 yuan/kg, up 0.9% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 15.15 yuan/kg, up 1.7% from yesterday;

Common carp was 13.06 yuan/kg, down 1.7% from yesterday;

Silver carp was 7.22 yuan/kg, up 1.0% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail was 28.90 yuan/kg, down 0.8% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring at domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: cabbage, ya pear, celtuce, pineapple and lettuce, with increases of 4.2%, 4.0%, 3.8%, 3.4% and 3.3% respectively; the top five price decreases were: watermelon, cucumber, green pepper, Chinese cabbage and winter melon, with decreases of 6.9%, 3.0%, 2.8%, 2.1% and 1.9% respectively.
