Hongyu Hexian, also called Kaiming Xian, has a clean base, and the large red patch on its lip is very distinctive, so it is still called Hongyu Hexian. Its floral quality is stable and its flower form holds exceptionally well, and both its flower color and flower shape are of superior quality - a new hexian variety! Its only shortcoming is that it is a bit unstable.
Hongyu Hexian, also called Kaiming Xian, was discovered in Sichuan, China, and developed by Wanfu Orchid Garden. It has a clean base, and the large red patch on its lip is very distinctive, so it is still called Hongyu Hexian. Its floral quality is stable and its flower form holds exceptionally well, and both its flower color and flower shape are of superior quality - a new hexian variety! Its only shortcoming is that it is a bit unstable.

This hexian originates from Leshan, Sichuan, China; it was a new variety that Wanfu Orchid Garden only obtained in 2010. This plant has a graceful plant type, with narrow leaves in a dragon-raising-head posture, slender flower stems that rise above the leaves, and a large flower form. The outer petals are as smooth and lustrous as jade, with clam-shell sepals, and the ruyi pouch lip is inlaid with two bright red spots that almost fill the entire lip. This flower was first named [Hongyu] by Wanfu Orchid Garden and, after Mr. Zhu Niantao (Jingdi Zhi Wa) purchased it from our garden, was renamed [Kaiming Xian].
