What the poverty alleviation work embodies is the special concern of the Party Central Committee and the State Council for poor areas and poor people. To convey this concern, the relatively limited poverty alleviation projects and funds must be used on the “edge of the blade”. Second, regarding problems such as poverty alleviation funds being spread like pepper powder and poor areas still wearing the “poverty cap”, detailed supporting measures with strong pertinence must be formulated to ensure the precise identification of poor areas and poor people, and use “sunshine poverty alleviation” to ensure that poverty alleviation and development work is scientific and precise, eliminate local interest-driven and distorted distribution of poverty alleviation projects and funds, and realize “helping the truly poor” and “helping the accurately poor”.

To let poor areas and poor people share the institutional dividends and reform dividends of a new round of social development, it may be advisable to take the establishment of “Poverty Alleviation Day” as an opportunity to continue innovating working methods and approaches on the one hand, and on the other hand persist in perfecting and patching loopholes in policies and systems, so that poverty alleviation and development work can be advanced precisely and deeply.
