Cymbidium faberi 'Peach Blossom Fairy' pictures, what variety is Huilan Peach Blossom and when does it bloom

Cymbidium faberi 'Peach Blossom Fairy' is a new variety discovered in 2001 on Peach Blossom Ridge in Liangnong Town, Yuyao, dug up by orchid enthusiast Old Li, and selected and bred by Yuebai Fengqing  and Chen Songhu. After being discovered, it was kept and passed around among only a few orchid enthusiasts, and in over ten years it bloomed again only once. In 2016, Peach Blossom Fairy finally bloomed normally again, and 16 years of waiting finally came true! This reblooming was made possible by the careful cultivation of Mr. Huang Wei of Shanke Caotang, allowing us to catch a glimpse of its beauty.

Looking at this flower, the leaves are slender, and the flower stem is tall and upright, making the flowers and leaves appear harmonious; the flower stem is straight, standing gracefully, giving an ethereal, fairy-like impression; the flowers are spaced openly, the pedicels turn appropriately, the flowers have a gentle flutter, delicate and elegant, appearing graceful and charming!  This flower's transition from red to green is quite well achieved, the flowers are emerald in color, the flowers are about 5 cm in size, with waves of delicate fragrance, making one feel relaxed and joyful. The greatest feature of this flower lies in its center, with soft petals and a large ruyi tongue (somewhat close to a square tongue), the red block on the tongue is neat, the outer petals have a gentle flutter, and they harmonize with the center, making it very pleasing to look at, and it quite has the charm of an old Fengqiao when it first opens. A flower form like this is rarely seen even among traditional varieties. The petals will open after being open for a long time!
