Danxia Naihuangbao. Origin: Danxia Mountain, Renhua, Guangdong. The flower is a lotus-type speckled-shell susu (plain-colored) form; the buds are yellow-green at first and begin to change color only after the large boll stage (da pai ling), opening fully to a tender yellow creamy-yellow that is extremely charming. The buds of this orchid are creamy yellow, resembling Guangdong's famous dim sum, the creamy (imperial) bun, a fine morning tea treat. Hence it is named "Naihuangbao" (Creamy Custard Bun).
