On August 21, 2015, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on August 21 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 214.85, up 0.49 points from yesterday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 218.36, up 0.64 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural products wholesale markets was 24.47 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 184.76), up 0.1% from yesterday;

Beef 53.93 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday;

Mutton 47.89 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday;

Eggs 8.81 yuan/kg, up 1.5% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 14.94 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.90 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 247.72), flat compared with yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 5.29 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.95 yuan/kg, up 1.2% from yesterday;

Common carp 13.22 yuan/kg, up 1.6% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.07 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 28.53 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring at domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: rapeseed, white radish, lettuce, garlic shoots and garlic, with increases of 3.6%, 3.2%, 3.1%, 2.6% and 2.5% respectively; the top five price decreases were: pumpkin, watermelon, winter melon, zucchini and cucumber, with decreases of 4.4%, 4.2%, 4.0%, 3.1% and 2.7% respectively.
