In order to better serve the vast rural areas, farmers, and agricultural product enterprises, and to promote and market the rich agricultural, forestry, and local specialty products of various regions, after more than a year of planning by Changsha Qinkun Bulk Agricultural Products Spot Electronic Trading Market Co., Ltd., China's first agricultural technology e-commerce industrial park has officially been launched in Liuyang, Hunan.
It is understood that the Qinkun E-commerce Agricultural Technology Industrial Park covers an area of more than 5000 mu, with a total investment of 6 billion yuan. The park features a modern e-commerce wholesale market, a warehousing and distribution center, an agricultural product display and marketing area, an urban leisure farm, a planting and breeding farm, an amusement park, a high-end business club, and more. It is a comprehensive functional zone integrating product wholesale, logistics, warehousing, processing, science education, training, terminal consumption, and leisure.
According to the company's chairman Zhong Xiaoyu, who spoke to a reporter from China Industry and Economy News, the Changsha Qinkun E-commerce Agricultural Technology Park follows the overall development approach of "e-commerce-driven, O2O-powered, government-promoted, base station-linked, and merchants entering free of charge." From the perspectives of business methods, sales methods, products, and services, it has paved a path for the transformation and upgrading of agricultural product circulation nodes, wholesale markets, and consumer terminals. In its operations, the technology park has formed strong alliances and strategic partnerships with several major banks and Tianan Insurance, conducting on-site transactions and on-site settlement, and providing insurance for all agricultural, forestry, and local specialty products of enterprises entering the park. Losses caused by climate, warehousing, handling, and other links and original causes shall be compensated by the insurance company, giving entering enterprises no worries.
At present, due to reasons in rural transportation, information, facilities, systems, management, and other aspects, the circulation of agricultural products has long suffered from the bottleneck problems of "difficult to buy and difficult to sell" and congested nodes. In particular, various types of agricultural product trading markets have increasingly found it difficult in recent years to meet residents' modern consumption needs. For example, most agricultural product origin markets and sales destination markets have poor logistics and information flow, making it difficult for them to play the role of distribution and collection. Another example is that vegetable markets in some large cities, as terminal consumption nodes, are gradually disappearing from people's lives. Therefore, agricultural product wholesale markets and consumer terminal markets, as important nodes in agricultural product circulation, have been undergoing transformation and upgrading since 2012. Agricultural product e-commerce has successively seen business formats such as grain and cotton online merchant trading, fresh agricultural product online merchant trading, and bulk agricultural product online trading. Recently, agricultural product e-commerce has entered a peak period of change in transformation, upgrading, and financing. The company has seized this favorable opportunity to plan and implement the e-commerce industrial technology park, pioneering its transformation concepts, management methods, upgrading technologies, and operating models. The technology park implements exemption from stall fees and accommodation fees for all merchants entering the park, while also providing free training in online e-commerce operation techniques, with five-star management and five-star service.
