The Ministry of Finance recently stated that, in order to implement the spirit of the Party Central Committee and the State Council regarding accelerating agricultural modernization, in 2015 the central finance arranged 20.36 billion yuan in modern agricultural production development funds, continuing to strongly support the development of local advantageous and distinctive leading industries, promoting appropriately scaled agricultural operations, effectively guaranteeing the effective supply and quality safety of grain and other major agricultural products, advancing the adjustment of the agricultural industrial structure and sustainable development, and accelerating the pace of modern agricultural construction.
