On September 18, 2015, the "National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on September 18 the “National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index” was 210.36, down 0.27 points from yesterday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 213.03, down 0.30 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural wholesale markets was 24.33 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 184.43), up 0.6% from yesterday;

Beef 53.90 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from yesterday;

Mutton 46.73 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from yesterday;

Eggs 9.09 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 15.17 yuan/kg, up 1.9% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.74 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 238.15), down 0.5% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 4.97 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.69 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.82 yuan/kg, up 1.6% from yesterday;

Silver carp 6.91 yuan/kg, up 2.4% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 28.19 yuan/kg, basically flat compared with yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring at domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets, compared with yesterday the top five price increases were: banana, grass carp, silver carp, winter melon and shiitake mushroom, with increases of 3.1%, 2.6%, 2.4%, 1.9% and 1.9% respectively; the top five price decreases were: rapeseed (yu choy), Chinese cabbage, spinach, bighead carp and pineapple, with decreases of 4.8%, 4.0%, 3.2%, 2.9% and 2.5% respectively.
