National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index Changes on September 24, 2015

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural wholesale markets was 24.15 yuan/kg (pork wholesale price index 184.08), down 0.7% from yesterday;

Beef 54.09 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from yesterday;

Mutton 47.26 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Eggs 8.86 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 14.74 yuan/kg, down 1.4% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 3.53 yuan/kg (vegetable wholesale price index 221.41), down 0.8% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 4.82 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.38 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.54 yuan/kg, down 0.8% from yesterday;

Silver carp 6.77 yuan/kg, down 3.0% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 28.29 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring at domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: Ya pear, pineapple, green pepper, large yellow croaker and garlic sprouts, with increases of 2.8%, 1.8%, 1.3%, 1.0% and 0.9% respectively; the top five price decreases were: cucumber, spinach, silver carp, pumpkin and celtuce, with decreases of 3.5%, 3.3%, 3.0%, 2.9% and 2.5% respectively.
