China and ASEAN Join Hands to Explore New Paths for Agricultural Materials Development

Recently, the "2015 China-ASEAN Agricultural Materials Industry Summit," jointly held by the Agricultural Materials Bureau of the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and the China-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce, took place in Nanning, Guangxi. A total of 200 people attended the meeting, including leaders of the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and the autonomous region government, leaders of agricultural authorities and cooperative organizations of ASEAN governments, leaders of leading enterprises in the agricultural materials and agriculture industries of China and ASEAN countries as well as related industry enterprises, and experts and scholars.

With the theme of "Cooperation, Win-Win, Innovation, Development," this meeting analyzed and discussed the current market development status and prospects of agriculture, agricultural materials, fertilizers, pesticides, the seed industry, and agricultural machinery, as well as the application and development of Internet of Things technology. Experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and analysts from the front lines of market research also conducted extensive and in-depth discussions on issues such as how China's high-quality brand agricultural materials can enter ASEAN. At the same time, the meeting also carried out activities such as the promotion of the 2015 China High-Quality Brand Agricultural Materials ASEAN Tour (Vietnam Stop), the promotion of high-quality ASEAN agricultural products in the Chinese market, and a presentation on agricultural materials Internet of Things technology.
