On October 12, 2015, the "National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index" compared with last week

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on October 12 the “National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index” was 197.45, down 0.36 points from last Saturday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 197.63, down 0.58 points from last Saturday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 23.56 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 179.76), up 0.9% from last Saturday;

Beef was 53.92 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from last Saturday;

Mutton was 47.14 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from last Saturday;

Eggs were 8.08 yuan/kg, down 1.9% from last Saturday;

Dressed chicken was 14.76 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from last Saturday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 3.31 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 200.08), up 0.6% from last Saturday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 4.70 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from last Saturday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.57 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from last Saturday;

Common carp was 12.49 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from last Saturday;

Silver carp was 7.11 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from last Saturday;

Largehead hairtail was 29.14 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from last Saturday.

Today, among the 60 varieties in the domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale market under key monitoring, compared with last Saturday the top five price increases were: zucchini, eggplant, cucumber, Chinese chives and watermelon, with increases of 4.7%, 4.6%, 3.7%, 3.2% and 3.1% respectively; the top five price decreases were: cauliflower, lettuce, green pepper, bighead carp and carrot, with decreases of 6.2%, 2.9%, 2.4%, 2.3% and 2.2% respectively.
