Guidelines for Applications for Agricultural Industrialization Operations Issued, Off-site Loans Can Enjoy Local Interest Subsidies
2016 Guidelines for Applications for Comprehensive Agricultural Development Industrialization Operation Projects Issued
Our reporter learned from Securities Daily that, in order to better select the best options and encourage qualified leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization, farmers' professional cooperatives and specialized large households, family farms, agricultural social service organizations and other new types of agricultural operating entities to apply for the 2016 National Comprehensive Agricultural Development Industrialization Operation Projects, the Ministry of Finance issued the "2016 Guidelines for Applications for National Comprehensive Agricultural Development Industrialization Operation Projects" yesterday.
The Ministry of Finance stated that listed companies and their holding companies are encouraged to invest in the construction of raw material bases and processing bases in production areas of advantaged and distinctive agricultural products. For leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization that build production bases in other locations, they may apply for industrialization operation projects at their original place of registration; enterprises that have already registered an independent legal person at the project location should generally apply for the project at the project location. Loans incurred in other locations (including across provinces) are allowed to apply for interest subsidies at the project location, and the loan applicant and the project implementing entity shall jointly apply for the project.
