On October 19, 2015, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with last week

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on October 19 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 194.83, down 1.14 points from last Friday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 194.51, down 1.36 points from last Friday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 23.08 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 177.89), basically flat compared with last Friday;

Beef was 53.73 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from last Friday;

Mutton was 46.66 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from last Friday;

Eggs were 7.76 yuan/kg, down 2.3% from last Friday;

Dressed chicken was 14.74 yuan/kg, down 1.7% from last Friday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.28 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 194.56), down 1.5% from last Friday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 4.69 yuan/kg, up 1.3% from last Friday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.26 yuan/kg, down 1.9% from last Friday;

Carp was 12.34 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from last Friday;

Silver carp was 6.99 yuan/kg, up 1.5% from last Friday;

Large hairtail was 28.00 yuan/kg, down 1.5% from last Friday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring in the domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale market, compared with last Friday, the top five price increases were: watermelon, Chinese chives, pineapple, grass carp and Ya pear, with increases of 4.8%, 3.3%, 2.4%, 2.2% and 1.7% respectively; the top five price decreases were: carrot, spinach, oyster mushroom, zucchini and Chinese cabbage, with decreases of 5.0%, 4.9%, 4.8%, 4.7% and 4.5% respectively.
