Qu Dongyu successively conducted research at scientific research and teaching institutions such as the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Anhui Agricultural University. He pointed out that it is necessary to face production, strengthen research on key core technologies, actively strengthen cooperation with relevant Internet enterprises, form a strong joint force of industry, academia, research and application to collaboratively advance the "Internet Plus" modern agriculture initiative, and provide scientific and technological support for the development of "Internet Plus" modern agriculture.
Qu Dongyu went deep into Bainiu Village, Changhua Town, Lin'an City to research agricultural e-commerce, and also conducted research at e-commerce enterprises such as Alibaba, Ganje, and Youle Nongpin. He stressed that it is necessary to interact online and offline, promote experiential consumption, and develop the real economy; use the Internet to drive marketization, force standardization, promote scale development, and enhance branding; learn from the auction mechanism of Dutch flowers and explore sales methods with gradually rising prices to ensure that agricultural products sell at good prices.
The agricultural Internet of Things was an important part of Qu Dongyu's research. When conducting research at enterprises such as Zhejiang Top Cloud-Agri Technology Co., Ltd. and Anhui Longcom Internet of Things Co., Ltd., he pointed out that it is necessary to closely integrate modern agriculture construction, strengthen demonstration and promotion, strengthen mechanism innovation, and reduce usage costs through large-scale application.
