On October 21, 2015, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on October 21 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 193.72, down 0.78 points from yesterday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 193.11, down 0.81 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at wholesale markets nationwide for agricultural products was 23.07 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 178.18), up 0.6% from yesterday;

Beef 53.87 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday;

Mutton 46.80 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday;

Eggs 7.75 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 14.56 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.25 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 187.87), down 0.6% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 4.70 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.41 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.34 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Silver carp 6.99 yuan/kg, up 1.2% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 28.44 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties of fresh and live agricultural products under key monitoring at domestic wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: watermelon, Kyoho grape, shiitake mushroom, cabbage and Chinese chives, with increases of 6.2%, 3.0%, 1.9%, 1.6% and 1.6% respectively; the top five price decreases were: spinach, carrot, pineapple, oyster mushroom and rape, with decreases of 4.4%, 4.1%, 3.6%, 2.9% and 2.7% respectively.
