October 28, 2015 "National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on October 28 the “National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index” was 191.80, up 0.39 points from yesterday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 190.81, up 0.50 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural wholesale market was 22.96 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 177.28), down 0.1% from yesterday;

Beef 54.24 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday;

Mutton 46.93 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Eggs 7.70 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 14.72 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 3.14 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 179.14), up 0.3% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 4.80 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.24 yuan/kg, up 1.7% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.46 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.09 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 28.63 yuan/kg, down 1.7% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties monitored in the domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale market, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: pumpkin, winter melon, eggplant, Ya pear and lotus root, with increases of 4.0%, 3.3%, 3.0%, 2.9% and 2.6% respectively; the top five price decreases were: celery, Fuji apple, cabbage, carrot and tomato, with decreases of 3.7%, 3.2%, 2.6%, 2.6% and 2.4% respectively.
