October 29, 2015 National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index month-on-month

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on October 29 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 191.59, down 0.21 points from yesterday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 190.62, down 0.19 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in national agricultural products wholesale markets was 22.87 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 177.31), down 0.4% from yesterday;

Beef 54.12 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday;

Mutton 46.85 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday;

Eggs 7.66 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 14.64 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.13 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 177.15), down 0.3% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 4.87 yuan/kg, up 1.5% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.35 yuan/kg, up 0.8% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.22 yuan/kg, down 1.9% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.00 yuan/kg, down 1.3% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 29.27 yuan/kg, up 2.2% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring in domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale markets, compared with yesterday the top five price increases were: zucchini, oyster mushroom, cucumber, pineapple and Kyoho grape, with increases of 3.4%, 3.2%, 2.5%, 2.4% and 2.3% respectively; the top five price decreases were: onion, lettuce, grass carp, Chinese cabbage and ginger, with decreases of 3.8%, 3.2%, 2.2%, 2.1% and 2.0% respectively.
