Policy-driven purchase of autumn grain is in full swing

According to the notice issued by the National Development and Reform Commission and 3 other ministries and commissions, Sinograin, as the entity entrusted by the state to implement the temporary corn purchase and storage policy, together with relevant parties, will launch the temporary purchase and storage of 2015 corn in Northeast China (including Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning provinces and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region) starting from November 1. Previously, since late September, Sinograin had successively launched minimum purchase price purchases of medium and late rice in 9 major rice-producing provinces. This marks that policy-driven purchase of autumn grain is in full swing.

With the launch of the state temporary corn purchase and storage policy, corn prices on the grain market in North China and the Huang-Huai region have now stabilized. In Northeast China, corn prices are also showing signs of recovery.
