The 13th China International Agricultural Trade Fair opens, with Internet Plus Modern Agriculture becoming a hot topic
The 13th China International Agricultural Trade Fair (hereinafter referred to as the "Agricultural Trade Fair") opened today in Fuzhou. This year's Agricultural Trade Fair takes "adjusting structure and transforming the development model, developing modern agriculture" as its theme, highlights the hot topic of "Internet Plus Modern Agriculture", and attracted about 5,000 leading enterprises and agricultural cooperatives from 45 exhibition delegations at home and abroad.
It is understood that this year's Agricultural Trade Fair is the largest ever in both scale and degree of professionalism. Its total exhibition area exceeds 120,000 sq m and is divided into 10 major sections: provincial comprehensive, Fujian Fuzhou, cross-strait agriculture, demonstration zones, geographical indications, fruit and tea, livestock and aquatic products, veterinary drugs and pesticides, agricultural equipment, and international. Among the 45 exhibition delegations, there are 32 delegations from each province (municipality, autonomous region and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps) and 13 professional delegations, bringing together famous, special, excellent and new agricultural products and agricultural technologies from all over the country.
The prominence of "Internet Plus" elements and modern elements is also one of the highlights of this year's Agricultural Trade Fair. The main exhibition hall has set up an "Internet Plus Modern Agriculture" exhibition area, which not only brings together a group of agricultural Internet solution providers, but also displays Internet information platforms serving "agriculture, rural areas and farmers", such as the rural comprehensive information service platform and the 12316 agricultural information comprehensive service platform. Among them, the 12316 agricultural information comprehensive service platform integrates hotline telephone, website, SMS, mobile client and mobile APP services, and its information services have already covered 98% of the country's provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions). In addition, modern elements such as big data, the Internet of Things and e-commerce have also been applied in agricultural production, operation, management and services.
At the same time, this year's Agricultural Trade Fair will also hold 15 important events concurrently, including the Modern Agriculture Demonstration Zone Construction Seminar, the China Agricultural Products Dealers Conference, the Agricultural Informatization Summit Forum, and the China Veterinary Conference. The concurrent events of various exhibition delegations also reached more than 40, and both the number and scale of activities set a record in history.
It is reported that the China International Agricultural Trade Fair is a large-scale agricultural industry event approved by the State Council and solely hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture. It has been successfully held 12 times and has played an important role in displaying the achievements of agricultural and rural economic development, promoting agricultural product trade, and popularizing advanced technologies. It is the largest and highest-level brand exhibition in China's agricultural field.
