November 16, 2015 "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with last week

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on November 16 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 192.99, down 0.31 points from last Friday, among which the “Basket of Vegetables” Products Wholesale Price Index was 192.35, down 0.33 points from last Friday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 22.43 yuan/kg (pork wholesale price index 173.66), down 0.3% from last Friday;

Beef 54.28 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from last Friday;

Mutton 46.20 yuan/kg, down 1.0% from last Friday;

Eggs 7.89 yuan/kg, unchanged from last Friday;

Dressed chicken 14.53 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from last Friday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 3.40 yuan/kg (vegetable wholesale price index 187.60), up 1.5% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 4.90 yuan/kg, down 1.4% from last Friday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.18 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from last Friday;

Common carp 12.14 yuan/kg, up 1.2% from last Friday;

Silver carp 7.08 yuan/kg, up 4.0% from last Friday;

Large hairtail 28.56 yuan/kg, unchanged from last Friday.

Today, among the 60 varieties key monitored in the domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale market, compared with last Friday the top five price increases were: zucchini, cucumber, green pepper, rapeseed and Chinese chives, with increases of 6.8%, 6.7%, 6.4%, 5.7% and 5.0% respectively; the top five price decreases were: pineapple, oyster mushroom, Ya pear, bighead carp and Fuji apple, with decreases of 6.8%, 6.2%, 2.6%, 2.1% and 1.9% respectively.
