National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index rises and falls on November 19, 2015

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on November 19 the “National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index” was 192.95, up 0.30 points from yesterday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 192.33, up 0.22 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural wholesale markets was 22.45 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 173.61), down 0.2% from yesterday;

Beef 54.21 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday;

Mutton 46.42 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Eggs 7.88 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 14.75 yuan/kg, up 0.9% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.45 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 187.26), up 0.3% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 4.91 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.51 yuan/kg, up 1.6% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.03 yuan/kg, down 0.9% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.12 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 29.27 yuan/kg, up 2.5% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring at domestic fresh and live agricultural product wholesale markets, compared with yesterday the top five price increases were: cucumber, rapeseed greens, largehead hairtail, lettuce and green pepper, with increases of 4.4%, 3.0%, 2.5%, 2.1% and 1.9% respectively; the top five price decreases were: oyster mushroom, cauliflower, Fuji apple, shiitake mushroom and carrot, with decreases of 3.7%, 3.0%, 2.4%, 2.0% and 1.4% respectively.
