List of demonstration cooperatives that passed monitoring approved by the national joint conference on cooperatives

On December 10, the inter-ministerial joint conference on the development of farmers' cooperatives nationwide held its second liaison meeting. The meeting heard reports on the organization and review of monitoring for cooperative demonstration cooperatives, in principle approved the list of demonstration cooperatives that passed monitoring and will be awarded the title of national demonstration cooperatives, and arranged key work for the next stage.

The meeting held that after the Ministry of Agriculture issued the notice on monitoring of cooperative demonstration cooperatives in April, all localities organized the work meticulously and completed the monitoring work in accordance with the principle of rather having fewer than having inferior ones. According to expert review and verification, the demonstration cooperatives that passed monitoring adhered to the purpose of serving members, had sound organizational structures that operated effectively, had relatively large operating scales, and played a prominent role in driving farmers' income growth, reaching the standards for national demonstration cooperatives, and will be awarded the title of national demonstration cooperatives.

The meeting also required all member units to strengthen follow-up understanding of the operation of national demonstration cooperatives, strengthen guidance, improve services, and reinforce support, give full play to the leading and driving role of demonstration cooperatives, promote the standardized development of cooperatives, and enhance the overall development quality and level of cooperatives.
