Since 2015, Mengzhai Town in Wuyang County, Luohe City, Henan Province, has targeted consumer demand for shiitake mushrooms and actively guided farmers to develop shiitake mushroom cultivation, achieving remarkable results. Up to now, the whole town has newly developed 146 edible mushroom growing households, with an estimated annual output value of more than 30 million yuan.
