In order to establish and improve the long-term seed supervision mechanism and regulate seed business practices, the Guazhou County Seed Management Station conducted a comprehensive and detailed assessment of 14 crop seed business enterprises on January 6, 2016.

The assessment used the seed management work target responsibility agreement signed with each enterprise at the beginning of the year as the standard, and the assessment methods were scientifically designed in light of the county's actual seed management situation. Through listening to reports, checking records, taking into account the full-year business situation and comprehensive review, and conducting on-site quantitative scoring and other forms, a centralized assessment was carried out for each seed business enterprise covering seed license management, seed transfer-in, quality management, seed business, trial and demonstration of new varieties, and training, among other aspects of their work, and the assessment results and the problems existing in each business unit were fed back on the spot. At the same time, in conjunction with the implementation of the revised new Seed Law, the 2016 target management responsibility agreement for seed production and business enterprises was further improved and signed. Through the assessment and signing of this target responsibility agreement, the lawful business practices of seed production and business enterprises will be further regulated, the awareness of seed operators in seed production and business enterprises to protect according to law will be raised, and the overall upgrading of the county's seed management work will be promoted.
