Completion of Seed Work by the Jinghong City Crop Quality Testing Center

In accordance with the requirements of higher-level leading departments, the Jinghong City Crop Quality Testing Center has successfully and satisfactorily completed the tasks of supervisory spot checks and commissioned testing of seeds. In line with the principles of science, impartiality, and fairness, and in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations on seed testing. As of November 2015, the testing center had completed testing and detection for a total of 54 varieties this year. Among them: 28 varieties of rice; 26 varieties of corn. The main testing items include purity, moisture, germination rate, and field identification of varietal purity. It also undertakes quality tracking and testing for the city's disaster relief and famine reserve seeds.
