Huaining County advances vegetable industry development through “three grasps and three transformations.” First, grasp land transfer and expand scale, achieving base-oriented cultivation. Support land transfer between villages and between households through contract right transfer, overall contracting and other methods, to advance the scale of specialty agriculture cultivation. The county's vegetable planting area is 230,000 mu, with annual output exceeding 350,000 tons. Second, grasp cooperation and seek mutual benefit, achieving large-scale production. Encourage enterprises and vegetable farmers to establish base vegetable supermarkets, sales outlets and distribution points, develop chain operations, promote the “farmers + specialized cooperatives + farming households” model, and provide services for farmers. At present, the county has 255 registered farmers' cooperatives and 165 family farms. Third, grasp branding and expand markets, achieving market-oriented industry. Accelerate the introduction, promotion and application of new varieties, new technologies and new materials, build up the “Huixiang” vegetable brand, and form branded vegetables such as “Xiaoligang.” Relying on the Duxiu Modern Agriculture Demonstration Zone and the Pingshan Provincial Agriculture Demonstration Zone, establish base archives and a traceability system to achieve full-process monitoring of production, processing, packaging, storage and transportation, sales and other links.
