Hu Yingmiao began raising partridge chickens under the forest in 2011 and succeeded, and in May this year established the chicken breeding cooperative. At present, the cooperative's members have reached more than 30 households, raising more than 50,000 partridge chickens. Because partridge chicken eggs are high in iron and calcium and low in cholesterol, each egg sells for 1.5 yuan and demand exceeds supply, and raising partridge chickens has broadened another path to prosperity for people in the mountainous area.
