Currently, it is the sowing period for Stropharia rugosoannulata. To further improve growers' sowing technique, the Zhejiang Province Pinghu City Agricultural Technology Extension Foundation and the City Agricultural Technology Extension Center jointly held a citywide Stropharia rugosoannulata sowing field meeting at the Shen Genfu Stropharia rugosoannulata base in Pailou Village, Xindai Town, and the Pailou Village meeting room in Xindai Town. Economic crop technicians from the agricultural technology and water conservancy service centers of relevant towns and subdistricts, as well as Stropharia rugosoannulata growers, attended the field meeting.

This year, Shen Genfu planted 30 mu of Stropharia rugosoannulata, of which 15 mu was protected cultivation. This year, he improved his Stropharia rugosoannulata cultivation method by changing the cultivation bed from a concave shape to a convex shape, which can prevent the mycelium from dying due to water accumulation in the mushroom bed. The three greenhouses displayed at the field meeting were as follows: rice straw was evenly arranged into 5 beds inside an 8-meter greenhouse, with each bed of rice straw 60 cm wide; after sowing the spawn on the rice straw, soil beside the rice straw was dug downward to cover it in a turtle-back shape, with a soil covering thickness of about 4 cm; after covering with soil, water was continuously sprayed using the sprinkler and drip irrigation installed on the greenhouse (spraying was required for about three days until the rice straw was completely soaked).

After visiting the field meeting, participants went to the meeting room in Pailou Village, Xindai Town, to attend Stropharia rugosoannulata cultivation technique training conducted by Zhu Yuandi, director of the City Edible Fungi Research Institute. Director Zhu combined theory with practice and gave a detailed explanation centered on Stropharia rugosoannulata sowing, management from mycelial growth to the mushroom harvesting period, and the regulation of temperature, humidity and air, including cultivation techniques summarized from actual experiments, explaining both thoroughly and in an easy-to-understand way. Technical materials on Stropharia rugosoannulata cultivation operating procedures and high-quality and efficient cultivation techniques of Stropharia rugosoannulata were also distributed at the meeting.

After the meeting, Lu Baozhong, president of the City Agricultural Technology Extension Foundation, asked the growers to do a good job in sowing, management and marketing of Stropharia rugosoannulata, and strive to grow well and sell well, so as to achieve good economic and ecological benefits.
