Whether an orchid is of good quality can be told by looking at the leaf tip
(1) Single and double arrow leaf groove. Only varieties with thicker leaves have this leaf groove. Besides enhancing the artistic beauty of the leaves, it also indicates a higher grade of the flower. (2) Round leaf tip, blunt-round leaf tip, blunt-pointed leaf tip, smoothly pointed leaf tip. These leaf tips are commonly found in dwarf orchids and semi-dwarf orchids. Varieties with such leaf tips may also have flowers of a higher grade. If it is a variety with longer leaves and has such a leaf tip, it is likewise possible that its flower grade is also higher.
