Banned veterinary drugs detected in livestock and poultry meat, involving multiple products
Recently, the official website of the State Food and Drug Administration issued a notice announcing the results of spot checks on livestock and poultry meat from May to June, showing that of the 429 batches of samples inspected, 11 batches were substandard. Among them, multiple substandard samples were found to contain banned veterinary drugs such as salbutamol (commonly known as "lean meat powder") and chloramphenicol.
