Detailed Study on New Technologies for Pig and Chicken Nutritional Parameters and Formulations
Solving the global shortage of protein feed and the environmental pollution caused by nitrogen in livestock and poultry excreta has become one of the main themes of animal nutrition research in various countries, and is also one of the research contents of this project. The technical key lies in how to scientifically evaluate feed protein quality, formulate carbon-nitrogen and amino acid balanced diets, and improve the utilization rate of feed protein. The main contents of this study are as follows: (1) Using internationally recognized advanced experimental methods (ileo-rectal anastomosis pigs and caecectomized chickens), the digestible

Study on Immunization Methods against Swine Trichinellosis and Biochemical Characteristics of Trichinella Antigens
1. Biochemical characteristics of Trichinella antigens: For the first time, advanced techniques including sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), isoelectric focusing (IEF), two-dimensional electrophoresis and enzyme-linked immunoelectrotransfer blot (EITB) were applied to analyze 4 types of Trichinella antigens. The analysis showed that the soluble antigen of muscle larvae contains at least glycoproteins, lipoproteins, glycolipoproteins, simple proteins, polysaccharides and esterase isozymes. Two-dimensional electrophoresis revealed 122 polypeptide spots, most of which were acidic polypeptides with molecular weights below 67 KD.

Study on Aeromonas hydrophila disease in European eel
In recent years, large-scale intensive farming of European eel has been increasing in China. However, with the expansion of farming scale and the continuous increase in farming density, various problems affecting the survival rate of European eel have also been increasing, and the fulminant infectious disease of European eel caused by Aeromonas hydrophila as the pathogen is one of the prominent problems. This paper conducts a series of preliminary studies on the physiological and biochemical characteristics, pathogenic factors, and pathogenic conditions of Aeromonas hydrophila, aiming to provide a strong theoretical basis for the prevention and control of fulminant infectious diseases in European eel, and to better promote the development of the European eel farming industry toward stronger

Case study of silver carp and bighead carp cage culture
How many fish to stock in a cage is reasonable and correct should be determined according to the location and specific conditions. Generally speaking, in flowing water and in cages with high dissolved oxygen in the water, more can be stocked. In places with stable water, little wind and waves, and low oxygen in the water body, fewer can be stocked. In other words, the limit of stocking is when the oxygen in the cage can fully satisfy every fish. If the oxygen cannot meet the needs of the fish, it means the stocking is excessive. In fertile water (transparency of 25-30 cm), raising silver carp and bighead carp requires no feeding. Overall, the stocking amount can be based on the following

A Case Study on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Joint Pain Caused by Rheumatism in Dogs
At present, dog keepers generally use pen-raising and tethered-raising methods, so dogs get relatively less exercise. If they encounter adverse factors such as sudden weather changes and damp environments, dogs are prone to rheumatism. A case study on the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatoid joint pain in a dog is recorded as follows: (1) Onset and symptoms. A 6-month-old dog, weighing 7.8 kg, kept in a pen, suddenly became ill during consecutive rainy days and a damp environment. The sick dog was lame in the left forelimb and could not put it to the ground, had difficulty moving, often lay down and could not get up, and when forcibly driven, moved forward by hopping on three legs. Palpation of the sick dog's left forelimb showed pain

A Preliminary Study on the Small-Water-Body Aquaculture Technique for the Liaodong sculpin
The sculpin, known by local folk names such as "xiagaizi," "xiageda," "xiapangzi," and "datouyu." It is distributed in the Dandong Yalu River and its tributaries, the upper reaches of the Biliu River, the upper reaches of the Hun River, and other waters. In the first half of 2002, Liu Yuanzhi, a farmer from Shalizhai in Fengcheng, boldly contracted the village's "drought-resistant large-mouth well," which had been built during the period of "vigorously carrying out farmland capital construction." It had been abandoned and overgrown for many years, with a shallow pit and little water, covering an area of 6 mu. Based on his family's financial capacity, he invested 4,000 yuan that year, excavated and cleared a small fish pond with a water surface of 2 mu

A Case Study on the Treatment of Eimeria Infection in Adult Carp
In early April 2005, a farmer came to my clinic for a consultation. The adult carp he was raising had recently stopped feeding and begun to die. The mortality was not high; in the early stage of the disease, one fish died every three to four days, and in recent days two to three fish died per day. The disease had been present for over a month. It had been treated as enteritis, with disinfectants applied by splash for 3 to 4 days and thiamphenicol given orally for 5 days, yet the dead fish did not decrease and the condition did not improve. The dead fish appeared dark in body color with a distended abdomen; when the abdomen was pressed by hand, a white purulent substance flowed out. To confirm the diagnosis without error, the farmer was instructed to go back and bring in samples of the diseased fish for laboratory

Successful River Crab Aquaculture Case Study: Pure Practical Value, Worth Saving
Boss Li of Jiangsu has two ponds with a total of 52 mu of aquaculture water surface. At the beginning of the year, he stocked 1200 juveniles per mu. Starting seven days before the Mid-Autumn Festival, he began selling crabs one after another. By the time the ponds were cleared in mid-November...
