Choosing a pot For the flower pot, just use a larger one. If you buy mint and bring it home, immediately repot it into a pot with a diameter greater than 20 cm. The soil must be breathable, loose, and fertile. You can use leaf mold plus coarse sand, or ordinary soil mixed with some chicken manure soil. The richer the better.
