Advantages of New Rice Variety Fengliangyou No. 1 Become Prominent
The Ministry of Agriculture held an acceptance and summary meeting for the "Pilot Action for Scientific and Technological Improvement of Comprehensive Rice Production Capacity" in the Anhui project area. Yang Xiongnian, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Liao Xiyuan, Deputy Director of the China National Rice Research Institute, and relevant experts participated in the acceptance activity. The acceptance results showed that the contiguous 1002 mu of the excellent rice variety "Fengliangyou No. 1" in the core demonstration area grew evenly and uniformly, with a moderate growth period, clean and vigorous growth, good maturity appearance, and no damage from diseases, insects, or weeds.
