How to improve the survival rate when taking flower cuttings
Branch selection: The mother plant from which cuttings are taken must be vigorous and free of pests and diseases. Choose current-year branches from the middle and upper parts that face the sun; do not use branches that are about to flower or that are leggy. Apply rooting hormone, and keep 2-3 buds on top. Substrate: It should have the characteristics of easily raising soil temperature, retaining water and aerating. It should be clean, with uniform, medium-sized particles, and should not be spread too thickly. After-planting care: Water after planting, cover with plastic film, place in a fairly shady spot, prevent direct sunlight, and spray water frequently to keep the cutting bed moist.
