Keep one of these at home and it'll shoot up 1 m in 10 days, covering the wall with blooms when it flowers - all the neighbours will be jealous

Autumn is here again, the season of buy, buy, buy. It feels like something's missing if I don't visit the flower market at least once a week. So what's the best flower to grow in autumn? Climbing vines, of course! Plant just a few and they'll cover an entire wall in no time - if you want a wall of flowers, that's the work of minutes, isn't it?
Star jasmine flower wall
Huahua thinks the name "windmill jasmine" (star jasmine) is really fitting, because once it blooms, the petals look like little windmills, and like jasmine they're white - whole sheets of them, absolutely beautiful!
Because star jasmine is slightly toxic, it's best to plant it in the garden to climb a wall or train it into an arch. Whatever you do, don't keep it indoors.
Star jasmine care tips: drought tolerant
Star jasmine is fairly drought tolerant - even if you're late with watering there's no problem, and if it's planted in the ground you needn't worry at all. Give it plenty of sun as usual; it can also take a little shade.
Garlic vine flower wall
Today Huahua recommends the garlic vine. Why is it called that? Because it's said that if you crush the leaves and flowers of this plant, they give off a garlic smell, so it's often planted in courtyards to drive away mosquitoes and insects.
Garlic vine is super easy to grow. It can flower in spring, autumn and winter, and its biggest flush of blooms comes in winter! The colour goes from deep purple to light purple, then slowly turns pinkish-white, and it can keep blooming for 2 weeks - an absolute must for lazy gardeners!
Garlic vine care tips: low demands for light, water and fertiliser
Garlic vine is truly the flower for lazy gardeners - it isn't fussy about light, water or fertiliser. For growers who keep it outdoors, just plant one and with barely any care it will soon flower into a wall of blooms!
Bougainvillea flower wall
When it comes to bougainvillea flower walls, everyone must be familiar with them - after all, this year bougainvillea has conquered north and south alike and become a true internet-famous flower!

Generally in the south, bougainvillea is especially easy to grow into a tree, but in the north, if you want bougainvillea to climb a wall, it's best to find a support and train it a little, so it keeps climbing upwards!

Bougainvillea care tips: control watering
Bougainvillea is actually very easy to grow. For those growers whose bougainvillea won't flower, I suggest controlling water. Cut the bougainvillea's water to half of what it was before, so the leaves stay normal for half a day and wilted for half a day. After 21 days, give it one thorough watering, then apply a little fertiliser, and you can get your bougainvillea to flower as soon as possible!
Climbing roses
Roses are simply everyone's darling - just plant 2-3 in the garden and in basically 2-3 years they'll cover the whole wall!

If your home doesn't have a wall big enough for it to climb, you can also buy an iron frame or build an arch yourself and let the rose climb up along the arch - that's super beautiful too!

Rose care tips: fertilising
To grow such a beautiful rose wall, besides plenty of sunlight every day, you definitely can't do without fertiliser. Things like fish guts and leftover fish bones from home can all be used on roses to supply phosphorus and potassium and get them to bloom more and more!

Honeysuckle flower wall
Last of all, Huahua recommends one more flower: honeysuckle! If you ask how it differs from the ones above, it's of course because it not only climbs walls and looks lovely in bloom, but can also treat illness - for heat-induced toothache, its anti-inflammatory effect is incredibly strong!
Some people ask Huahua: can honeysuckle really be grown to climb a wall? Of course! Just don't prune it and let it clamber up along the wall, and you'll basically end up with a beautiful honeysuckle waterfall!
Honeysuckle care tips: give it plenty of sun
If you want lots of honeysuckle blooms, sun exposure is essential. Put the honeysuckle on a south-facing balcony or south-facing windowsill - ideally grow it outdoors - let it get plenty of sun, then apply a little phosphorus and potassium fertiliser, and it will bloom more and more!
