Legend has it that people who can see or grow clover are very lucky, which is why it is also widely planted. So do you know when to sow it? How do you care for it?

When to sow clover?

In general areas, clover can be sown in spring, summer and autumn; in colder high-altitude regions, sowing in spring and summer is best. In addition, autumn sowing can be done earlier so that the seedlings can safely overwinter.

How do you care for clover?

1. Soil

Four-leaf clover is not particularly demanding about soil and can basically adapt to all kinds of soil, but it will grow better if slightly acidic soil is used. We can also use some rotten wood soil and garden soil to grow it, and we can also lay some coarse and fine gauze at the bottom of the flower pot to more effectively increase its drainage and air permeability.

2. Light

Clover likes diffused light, so when growing it, it is best to place it in a cool, ventilated spot. In summer, be sure to shade it from the sun and avoid strong sunlight. In winter, take good cold-proof and warm measures to avoid frost damage.

3. Fertilizing

During its growth cycle, choose some organic fertilizer for growing it; this can promote its growth and also improve its resistance to pests and diseases.

4. Watering

Water mainly according to the principle of “do not water if not dry, and water thoroughly when you do”; in summer, keep the potting soil slightly moist. When the temperature is below 10°C, no watering is needed.

Each leaf of the clover represents a different meaning, such as true love, health, fame and wealth, so friends who like it can grow a pot at home.
